Playful monster story for the whole family!

Frankenstein

Welcome to the world of quirky scientists and groovy monsters! Red Nose Company’s Frankenstein is a playful reimagining of Mary Shelley’s classic story, adapted for children and families.

With disco music, dazzling lights, and interactive comedy, we create an exciting, feel-good experience with the audience. On stage we see Finland’s most popular clown duo Mike & Zin, known for their witty and warm-hearted performances.

Frankenstein is a central myth in our cultural history, exploring themes of otherness and the feeling of being different. In our performance, we also guide young audiences through the history and ethics of science.

Mike & Zin

Mike & Zin (actors Tuukka Vasama and Timo Ruuskanen) are the most popular clown duo in Finland. They have performed together on stage since 2008, over 700 times. They have six different shows in their repertoire, and tour both in Finland and abroad. They are talented multi-instrumentalists and create their shows as a duo, together with different collaborators in every project. They have been invited to work i.e. with the National Theatre in Finland, Turku Philharmonic Orchestra, Meta4 string quartet, and they have received 5-star-reviews at Edinburgh Fringe.
