Red Nose Company, founded in 2005, is Finland’s leading clown theatre. Performing both with and without red noses, the company holds around 150 performances and attracts about 25,000 spectators every year.

2026 two new productions in English will get their premiere in Helsinki. Long Play is the fist show from new RNC Laboratory program. The new program category is created for bold experiments and new ideas. In April is the premiere of About The Rite of Spring. This performance is an unusual and surprising show inspired by Stravinsky’s famous Rite of Spring. On the stage four clowns dance their own choreography to music written especially for them.

Internationally the theatre is known for the clown duo Mike & Zin. Their Don Quixote has visited the Edinburgh Fringe Festival already three times. The skilled duo performs in English, Swedish and Finnish, and can even mix languages when engaging a multilingual audience. They have toured in Sweden, Norway and Estonia, and are all the time seeking new international opportunities.

In Finland, Red Nose Company is one of the most respected touring theatres, engaging over a dozen theatre artists. Collaborating with the country’s most important theatres, the company premieres 1-3 new shows each year and has 18 different productions in its touring repertoire. In Finland, the company performs primarily in Finnish and Swedish, but it is possible to order shows in English or as multilingual versions.
